Long time no post, I just wanted to update you on what is happening in the world of Kevin Kraft Photography.

My family and I recently took a much needed vacation out to Sedona Arizona, and the Grand Canyon.

It was quite the adventure, and talk about photo heaven! If you have not had a chance to experience Grand Canyon National Park it is a definite bucket list addition!

2013 was a big year for me! I was promoted to Team Lead at Dicks Sporting Goods, and I graduated with my associates degree in marketing management from Cincinnati State Technical Institute.

Cincinnati State was a very pivotal point for the direction of my life. I learned more than I can put down on this post from some very influential and wise teachers. The Co-op program is one of the reasons why I choose to attend Cincinnati State in the first place and I am so glad I did!!

Because of the outstanding coop program I now am working full time as a customer service Representative at Adkins Insurance Group, Nationwide. I was able to use what I learned from Cincinnati State to learn something completely new to me: Insurance. A requirement for the position was that I get Licensed in Property and Casualty for the state of Ohio. Through long hours of studying, and learning I finally passed the exam and I am officially licensed in P&C.

Adkins has been a wonderful learning experience, and I have been blessed enough to have found a place with such wonderful people to work with. I am always learning from my buddy Mike who has been an agent for the last 14 years, and Nancy - the owner has been nothing but a pleasure to work with!!

Since January 2014 I have been learning and growing in the Insurance field. This has been taking up the majority of my time, along with several extra curricular activities.

I am currently on the leadership team of an ever expanding group of young adults who meet in 4 houses now who get together to love the people of the city of Cincinnati, because of the Grace Jesus has shown not only us but the world.

This is an update on the world of Kevin Kraft Photography and some of the reasons why I have not had as much time to dive into my passion of Nature Photography. This season has been and continues to be a season of joy and learning. I am looking forward to what God has in store next!

A personal THANK YOU!! and Photography Updates

I just wanted to update all of you on what is going on in the world of Kevin Kraft Photography, and also thank you all for all of your love and support!!

I just want to send out a personal thank you for all 162 of you who have liked my page and supported my passion. You all are such a blessing and I cannot put into words how thankful I am to have you all with me on this journey. So THANK YOU!!!

Recently life has been very busy. As I am getting ready to finish up earning my Associates degree in Marketing at Cincinnati State, I am currently taking my last class before I graduate, I have had the pleasure of Co-oping with a wonderful company called Fluid Conservation Systems. I loved working there and have learned lots about the world of marketing. On top of that I am a footwear associate at Dickssporting goods in tri-county.

Needless to say life is filled with opportunities, and although I am being pulled in these different directions, my passion will always be photography. If anything these different opportunities have shaped me to become a more effective photographer, and they have helped me bring newly learned skill sets to my business.

Last month I had the honor of photographing the University of Cincinnatis DAAP Fashion show directed by my friend Laurie Wilson. I took close to 1,000 photos, at the show and had an absolute blast. I also took all the program head-shots for the design, fashion, and product development seniors for the show. I am still in the process of editing, and posting the photos to my website. Whoever is waiting for their collection to be uploaded, I want to apologize for the wait, and my goal is to have all the collections uploaded by the end of next week.
